# Faction balance worry: Skyborne Shaman and the Alliance

Some players worry that if Alliance Skyborne can't be Shaman, raiders will favor the Horde and faction populations will tilt again. It's speculation about future balance; Blizzard has said Skyborne are dual-faction partly to avoid a population swing like the one Blood Elves caused.
