# No retail races planned for Forever: players react

**Community · unconfirmed** · drama · published 2026-10-12

In an interview with TechRadar Gaming, Blizzard said it has "no plans to add races from WoW's expansions at this time" and wants to build on the foundational lore of the original Warcraft games. That statement is confirmed by the interview. The forum thread collects player reactions, from relief to disappointment that races like Goblins or Vulpera won't come.
