# Oct 15 beta build: racials reworked, wands and Auto Shot need you to stand still

**Confirmed** · news · published 2026-10-16

Blizzard's Oct 15 beta development notes replace racial weapon specializations with flat bonuses (Human 2% crit, Orc 1% crit, Dwarf 2% crit damage and healing), raise Skyborne haste to 3% and Troll regeneration to 20%, and make wands and Hunter Auto Shot require standing still for 0.5 seconds. Moonkin Aura and Leader of the Pack become raid-wide, Paladin Salvation is no longer a Blessing, Mages get a new Frost Blast spell, and new players get a tutorial.
