# Explore WoW: Forever with a Gamepad

**Confirmed** · news · published 2026-11-03

Blizzard's gamepad guide explains that WoW: Forever supports all XInput-compatible controllers with Xbox and PlayStation button icons. Switch under Game Menu > Options > Gameplay > Gamepad. Bumpers pick friendly (LB) or hostile (RB) targets, holding LT, RT or both swaps between four action bars, and holding LB + RB with Left or Right on the D-pad cycles three action bar sets for 84 customizable slots. Controllers with supported lighting glow red for Horde and blue for Alliance.
