# Pick up Cooking on every character

**Community · unconfirmed** · tips · published 2026-10-12

Per a community guide: buff food in Forever also gives 5% more XP from kills, and only cooks can build campfires, so Cooking pays off while leveling. Unverified by Blizzard; check in-game tooltips.
