# Beta passes 1 million characters (community census)

**Community · unconfirmed** · news · published 2026-10-13

IGN reports 1,003,125 characters made in the Forever beta, per the community census at classicplus.io. It's an addon-based scan, not a Blizzard figure: Skyborne leads races (~18.7%), Hunter leads classes, and everything is wiped at the Nov 4 launch.
