# Forever Open duel tournament posts new rules and banned items

**Community · unconfirmed** · drama · published 2026-10-14

Organizers of the community-run $100k Forever Open duel tournament on the beta (Oct 17-18) posted updated rules in their Discord banning more items and methods. Players are also flagging a possible Dedicated Study reset that could push professions to 300 for banned Engineering items, and some accuse the event of favoritism. Community event, not run by Blizzard; claims unverified.
