# WoW Forever: "You think you do, but you don't" (xKaedos thread)

**Community · unconfirmed** · tips · published 2026-10-29

Player @xKaedos posted an 8-part thread arguing that the flood of pre-launch min-max and leveling guides will push players toward one "right" way to play. He suggests deciding what you want from WoW Forever (crafter, loremaster, reliable raider), not copying friends' pace, since you only level to 60 for the first time once. Community opinion, not official guidance.
